Ana Forrest Yoga Inspired Workshops- Spring Renewal22/03/2018
ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME to this set of exciting and dynamic Yoga workshops- held at a beautiful studio space in the heart of Berlin. Each of these 2.5 hour Forrest Yoga inspired workshops will lead you on a journey of self discovery- exploring habitual patterns, creation of space and authentic connection to Spirit whilst having fun and meeting like minded individuals along the way.
These transformational workshops are limited to just 11 participants, to allow individualised attention in a safe space of inquiry. Utilising the power of Breath, Intelligent Asana Sequencing, Meditation and creative Writing- each workshop will explore „Renewal of Spirit“.
While these workshops have been desiged specifically to be taken as a complete set of three- individual booking is possible. These workshops are available to all gender, race, sexual identity and experience level.
SUNDAY 8. 4. 2018 TIME: 14:00-16:30 WORKSHOP ONE: „CURATING HABITUAL PATTERNS” DYNAMIC WORK WITH THE AMYGDALA: INVESTIGATING BACK BENDING
please bring paper and something to write with“Curating Habits” will use the mat as our labratory to explore identifying habitual patterns that no longer serve us. We will use Pranayama (Breath work) and Asana to access the Amygdala. Part of the human limbic system, the Amygdala is the integrative centre for emotions, emotional behaviour, and motivation. An ability to identify our habitual patterns and how we respond to triggers and stimuli equip us with the tools and power to make decisions about what serves us and what we need to change. This leads us into Workshop two.
SUNDAY 15.04. 2018 TIME: 14:00-16:30 WORKSHOP TWO : “CREATING SPACE”. WORKING WITH THE SPINE – STRONG STANDING SEQUENCE & TWISTS
please bring paper and something to write with „Creating Space“ is the second in this workshop series where we will explore areas of tightness, congestion and blockages in the physical body and how to open and release these. In order for our authentic self to emerge and new patterns to take home in us, we must create space for them.
SUNDAY 22. 04.2018 TIME: 14:00-16:30 WORKSHOP THREE: “CONNECTING TO SPIRIT” – STRENGTH BUILDING WITH ABDOMINALS & INVERSIONS
please bring paper and something to write with „Connecting to Spirit“ is the final workshop in this series. You will find confidence and a new perspective on your authentic self. You will explore strength and playfulness in the mental and physical space we have created in Workshops One and Two.
The conclusion of this series will leave you ready to enter Spring feeling Renewed, rejuvenated and reconnected.
All Mats, blocks, belts and blankets are provided at the studio ( but you are welcome to bring your own)- as well as lockers for secure keeping of your belongings during the workshops.
Workshops are conducted in English About the Teacher: Angela grew up in Sydney, Australia, and first experienced Yoga at age 16 whilst working with a touring theatre company. She revisited Yoga technique alongside dance and contemporary theatre at University and is trained in Vinyasa/Hatha flow yoga and is a graduate of Advanced Teacher Training in Forrest Yoga. she has over 500 hours of Yoga Training and is a life long student.
Angela has led workshops in locations around the world from Australia, Thailand, Germany, UK, France – and with people of all differing ages, nationalities, and needs. She has also had the privilege to train alongside Ana. T Forrest, Leslie Kaminhoff, Kino Mcgregor, Mark Stephens, Kathryn Budig and Sarah Powers. Today her focus is on Meditation ,Forrest Yoga, Vini Yoga, and Bodywork. Please note, do to the limited number of participants, booking is only secured via full payment in advance. Cancellation given less than 48 hours notice will result in no refund being offered.
